EARLY DISMISSAL – Mark your calendars for the following early dismissals:
DRESS DOWN DAY TOMORROW – Bring your dollar to benefit the dimes for chimes and earn a dress down day tomorrow! Please remember students’ street clothes must follow these guidelines:
SUBSTITUTES NEEDED – How would you like to be involved in our school on a random basis working in any of the following areas? There is a need for substitutes to step in when we call for it in the classroom as a teacher’s assistant, in the lunchroom from 10:45 until 1:00, or as a custodian working with our awesome Maintenance Director, Craig. You will be compensated for your time worked. If you have questions contact Mr. Ridder, Principal, via email ridderd@stpatselkhorn.org or call 289-5407.
ATTENTION PARENTS - If your child has medication at school it will need to be picked up by May 25th. Please plan to pick up your child’s medication during the week of May 21st – 25th. School office hours for the week of May 21st – May 25th will be 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. Any medication, including EPI-Pens not picked up by this date will be discarded. We are not able to send medication home with students. Thank you for your assistance in this important matter.
MRS. CONNOLLY - It is with mixed emotions that I will not be returning to St. Patrick’s School next year. I will miss working with the students, staff, and families; but am looking forward to staying home to be “mom” for a while. The last 3 years have been a wonderful experience. St. Pat’s is a school that feels like family, as staff, and parents work together to help all children. I look forward to seeing familiar faces at mass, and during parish activities.
LOST & FOUND - Please take a moment to stop by the main entrance to retrieve any items that may have been lost over the course of the year. Any items that have not been picked up by the last day of school will be donated to the uniform loan closet or Goodwill.
MAY CROWNING - is planned for Tuesday, May 8th, at the 8:30 a.m. all school Mass. Two girls from each class will be chosen from a drawing to present the flowers to Mary. A 2nd grade girl will be chosen from a drawing to crown Mary. Thank you to our MOMS groups for donating the flowers that will be presented to the Blessed Mother on this day! As we begin the month of Mary, it is a great time to direct our thoughts and prayers to our Blessed Mother. The following is a family prayer that can be used when praying through our Blessed Mother.
Come into our home, oh most loving Mother Mary, and make yourself a part of our family. Hear us when we are lonely. Comfort us when we are sad. Heal us when we are torn. Celebrate with us, enjoy with us. Share with us these moments of intimacy that transform a family from the mundane to the unique. Honored Mother, invite your Son, Jesus, into our hearts and our midst. Let us reflect the light of His love in all that we do here at home, and let the rays of His love extend from our family to His family everywhere. Amen
