    St. Patrick's Parish

    Mission Statement

    We, the members of St. Patrick's Catholic Parish, Elkhorn, NE, accept Jesus Christ as the Risen Lord.   We are a pilgrim people seeking salvation; we are called to worship God, to preach and witness the Gospel, to share the gifts God has given us, and to love and serve our neighbor. We commit ourselves through God's guidance to model a truly Christian community to all.

    Our parish serves the communities of Elkhorn, Bennington, West Omaha, Waterloo and rural Douglas County.

    Liturgical Schedule

    Saturday        5:00 PM

    Sunday          8:00, 9:30, 11:00 AM & 12:30 PM

    Weekdays     8:30 AM (Monday thru Friday)

    Holy Days   Vigil Mass 6:30 PM; &

                         Holy Day 8:30 AM, 6:30 PM

    Reconciliation


    Reconciliation is offered on Saturday

    afternoons from 3:30 to 4:30 PM;

    also arranged upon request.

    Baptisms


    Baptisms are celebrated regularly with the parish community during weekend liturgies. Our baptismal preparation progam - "Welcome Your Baby" is required for all first-time parents.  Please call the parish office to register and/or arrange your child's baptism.

    Matrimony


    Wedding dates must be reserved a minimum of six (6) months in advance. Please contact the parish office for information and to reserve your date.

    Anointing of the Sick


    An annual communal celebration is held in late November, but the Sacrament is available anytime upon request.  Please contact the parish office more details.

    The Mission of St. Patrick's Catholic School of is "To teach as Jesus did by challenging every student to become their best spirituality, academically and behaviorally."


    Religious Formation
    The Mission of St. Patrick's Parish Religious Formation program is to provide opportunities for the children in our community to grow in their relationship with Jesus and to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith.

    Development

    It is the mission of St. Patrick’s Parish Development Committee to cultivate the financial resources of our parish and community by developing and maintaining stewardship so our parish may serve the mission of Jesus.


    Youth Ministry
    The mission of St. Patrick’s Youth Ministry is to foster the personal and spiritual growth of each young person in our parish by empowering them to live as disciples of Jesus Christ and drawing them to responsible participation and leadership in our faith community.

    Adult Formation

    The mission of St. Patrick's Adult Formation is to provide opportunities that foster maturity of faith for adults of every age.  All catechesis from the earliest years is geared towards a lifelong deepening of faith in Christ.  Adult Formation must be the central axis of all faith formation.
